Web Help: Q & A
Q:
How can I check what the printed page will look like before I print it.
A:
Before printing the web page, choose print preview from the top menu on your browser.
Note that in this website, I turned off all the side bars and the top graphics for print so
that you don't use a lot of paper printing the information that you are really interested in.
Q:
Why does my browser freezes when I click on the lawn pdf file.
A:
Your browser most likely freezes when you click on all pdf files from any website.
Go to www.google.com and type in your browser name,
the word "freeze" and "pdf". You should be able to find what to do.
For example, this happens with Mozilla Firefox. If you use Mozilla Firefox, go to
Mozilla add ons and see if that helps.
Q:
Can I make the print bigger.
A:
Yes, and this website will let you increase it quite a bit before it starts to look jumbled.
In Mozilla Firefox, use "Control +" to make it bigger, "Control -" to make it smaller, and
"Control 0" to go back to default size.
In Internet Explorer, from the top menu bar, choose "View" / "Text Size" and choose from the list.
Q:
A link does not work when I click it.
A:
If it is an outside link, try it again in a few minutes in case their site was temporarily off line.
If it still does not work, email Mary Morris at ciscoeweb@comcast.net.
If an internal link does not work, email Mary (address above).
