Brussels Sprouts with Mushrooms and Curry

This recipe is from Dick Schauer who wrote "I checked your Brussel Sprouts recipes and did not find my favorite. So I am sharing it with you."

1. I slice the sprouts in half - or quarters on the larger ones - and mix them with sliced mushrooms.
2. Melt butter - enough to coat the sprouts and mushrooms - in a pan.
3. Add a teaspoon or so of curry powder.
4. Stir the sprouts and mushrooms in the melted butter mixture until they are just cooked through.

Another note from Dick which I have found to be true ... My neighbor got me started on Brussel Sprouts again after being turned off by the bitterness of the store bought Sprouts years ago. He insists that they should be left until the first snow. Or at least until a decent freeze. He was right, they are always full of flavor then.
