Dierama /pruning
Q:
Wandflower -'*Dierama* dracomontanum.
These seem to stay evergreen.
Do we need to prune them back like an iris so that new flowers produce?
Is now the time to prune?
A:
Cut off any leftover flower stems from last year.
The leaves can be cut down if they are unsightly,
but the plant will be stronger if you leave them.
A good compromise is to remove only the leaves that look bad.
