Rosa 'Royal Sunset' is a tough, yet beautiful climbing rose. The foliage is dark green, and the wonderfully fragrant 5 inch wide flowers open from orange buds to a magnificent blend of deep apricot, yellow and pink. This rose is vigorous and can climb to 12ft. 'Royal Sunset' flowers on both previous season as well as current season growth, so it's a great repeat bloomer. It produces best on horizontal branches, so allow branches to bend down or tie them into a horizontal position. Although it's purported to be highly disease resistant, it usually suffers a manageable bit of black spot in my garden. 'Royal Sunset' is only hardy to about -10 degrees F.
