This sun-loving plant is hardy practically anywhere, can sit in water in spring, yet is drought tolerant as a rock, and it's a great plant for clay soil. If you let it grow, it can reach 18 feet tall, and becomes great bird habitat providing great nesting and berries for your bird friends.
